This was a really social week! On Monday I went to spin class with my friend, and then out for Starbucks afterwards. Tuesday I was treated to beers in the park with a friend. Friday I met up with my realtor to discuss listing prices and strategy, then went running with friends from my old job. Sunday a good pal and I went to an Iced Tea Festival, then headed downtown to Veg Fest Vancouver – where we had so much fun trying different products and walking around Granville Street. :) I even got to try my first vegan bacon cheesebuger, and it was really good!

And for the biggest expense of the week? I signed up for the GoodLife Half Marathon. It was the very first half marathon I ever ran back in 2013, and I’m really looking forward to beating my time from last year … and staying injury-free while training. :)

  1. It’s always nice to see a ‘No Spend Day’ or three in the week.

I hope that was REALLY nice gelato!!! Or a big tub. :-)

  2. The Follower says:

That is a fairly extreme gelato price!
Do you find yourself spending a fair amount on eating out/fast food every week or is this more of an anomaly?

I find that Mario’s Gelati is the best spot in Vancouver!

    • Krystal Yee says:

Haha I treated someone to gelato, which makes that expense a bit better :)

I don’t spend a ton on eating out every week, but do find quick trips to Subway are easy and cheap when I’m in a rush. On weekends I tend to go out more often with friends, but almost never anywhere expensive.

Haven’t tried Mario’s before – will add it to my list!

You haven’t mentioned your bf for awhile, I hope you haven’t broken up. It always sounded like he made you very happy.

    :) Lynn

I’m glad you had a couple of no spend days and that you still track them. I haven’t been to your site in a while :) Also, your spending is always so healthy compared to mine. haha
