The countdown is on… we’ll be leaving Stuttgart in just over two weeks, and life has been busy with trying to combine packing up our apartment, with tying up loose ends, and finding the time to check out the places around the city we haven’t gotten around to visiting yet. I also have the dilemma of trying to figure out how to pack 3 beer steins (1 L, 0.5L, 0.2L), as well as a few bottles of beer.  :| I’d rather send everything by mail (instead of packing it in my checked luggage), but I’m scared of breakage.

Also, this week I had two articles featured in the Toronto Star print edition (Monday) – one was even the lead article on the front page of the business section! :) Check it out:

For the first time ever, I do plan on checking out the U.S. Black Friday sales. I’ve been on the hunt for a few things all year, and if I can snag them at a great deal (and have them shipped to my U.S. shipping address in Point Roberts), then I’ll do it. Otherwise, I’ll look again on Boxing Day. Is anyone else planning on shopping on Black Friday or Cyber Monday?

I can’t believe you’re leaving Stuttgart in two weeks! It seems like you got there not that long ago! I’ve loved reading about your adventures there. :o)

I toke half day tomorrow and Friday off to go Black Friday shopping. Hoping to get some good deals. Heading to Seattle Premium Outlet, Walmart, Target and Best Buy. And maybe a few other stores.
