This week was relatively slow in both the money making and money spending department. My sister came over for the weekend with her boyfriend, and we all went to the Canucks game on Sunday night. I had a really good time, but this month I’m probably the busiest I’ve ever been in my entire life, so I couldn’t help but feel at least a little guilty for spending so much time out having fun, when I should have been working. But, in 3 weeks – once my secret projects are complete – I’ll be able to slow down and relax a little bit.
On the bright side, that’s 5 no-spend days this week. Good, eh? :)
* This is all income I bring in that is above and beyond my full-time job. Money is primarily made through my two blogs and my graphic design business.

You are doing great with your spending! In the past 2 days I’ve managed to spend $100 plus on shoes… At least I returned a few other things.

Yes, but YOU have a reason to spend some money since you’re having a wedding! :P
I have yet to see so many no spend days for myself!! It’s much harder then it looks.

Good job! And I wouldn’t feel bad about spending money and having fun, you’re always so busy!

You’ve had a great year (not over yet!) and work so hard so definitely don’t feel guilty about having fun! And impressed by your non-spending week!

Lately I’d love to have the reverse! 2 no spend days, and 5 spend days!
Fantastic job on your freelance tally this year — can’t wait to see the final numbers.

I found Five Guys burgers to be a bit overrated. It’s kind of expensive for what it is.

Agreed. My sister had never been before, so I took her there to check it out. I still prefer In-n-Out Burger, especially since it’s much, much cheaper.
I agree…the price is high. BUT we don’t have either an In-and-Out or a Five Guys anywhere close to our little town. I saw that line item and immediately heard my stomach growl.
So, my stomach, which doesn’t think about a budget, gives a big thumbs up to Five Guys (or would it be a “belly button up”? …hmmmm).

Wooohooo on all the no spend days. I try, but it’s even harder with two debit cards.
5 no spend days is AWESOME! These secret projects sound really intriguing. :-)
