This was a so-so week for me in terms of spending. It could have been a lot cheaper, but my sister was in town over the weekend for the NKOTBSB concert. She doesn’t come over often, and we had a good time seeing friends. Friday night, we went for all-you-can-eat sushi with my cousin and her BF. Then, on Saturday we headed to Café Medina for brunch with a few friends.
For those who are keeping track of my $100 grocery budget this month, I’m at $43.80 at the moment. It would be lower, but I’ve been really bad at not going grocery shopping during the hours in which the Asian grocery store is still open, so have had to resort to buying overpriced produce at Safeway (the only grocery store within walking distance). I’ll work on that for the rest of the month!
* This is all income I bring in that is above and beyond my full-time job. Money is primarily made through my two blogs and my graphic design business.

The Asian produce store where I live is open until 7pm I believe. Is it later than the one you usually try to go to?
Lately I've been going grocery shopping around 9pm… the one by where I live closes at 7 as well.
T&T at Metro is open until 10 apparently.
Yeah, but there's no way I'm going all the way to Metrotown for some groceries, hahaha. :) I just need to get more organized. Everything I need is within walking distance if I can get my act together.
