Sunday Link Love: July 10, 2011

This has been a great weekend so far, filled with a lot of fun things to do – because my sister is in town! Friday night, we headed out for sushi with my cousin and her boyfriend. Then yesterday we hit up Café Medina for brunch with a few friends, hung out downtown, and then headed to the NKOTBSB concert (which was amazing).

Today, I’m headed to the MEC Paddlefest today to check things out and combine a little work with play. It should be a good time. Send me a tweet if you happen to be at the event too! :)

Talent Egg: Top Canadian Personal Finance Blogs For Students & Recent Grads
A few months ago I was interviewed for this article about how students can use their money successfully and have a bright future (with minimal debt). Well, it’s finally up! A shout out to Vicky Tobianah for writing a great piece.

We all know how hard it can be to try and find a decent job sometimes, and Talent Egg is an amazing resource for 20-somethings to help find meaningful entry-level careers, summer jobs, or internships and co-op opportunities with some of Canada’s top employers. I wish I had a resource like that when I was in my early 20′s.

Props to Million Dollar JourneyYoung & Thrifty, and Fabulously Broke who were also featured. :)

This pretty much sums up how I feel about Nutella. Also, I had the Nutella cupcake from Cupcakes yesterday – go get one right now. Seriously, there’s no time to waste!

  2. It's such an honour to be featured along side you, FB, and Million Dollar Journey! Thanks Vicky for writing a great piece.

I LOVE Nutella. But I can't bring myself to fork up $5 for a cupcake at Cupcakes. Even if it had nutella on it. Heck, I can buy a whole jar of nutella and eat it by itself for $5. heheh… :)

  3. Oh yeah, I was driving through DT that night and was confused at why there were so many women on the streets looking deliriously happy. Then I realized it was the NKOTBBSB concert!
