How come, no matter how hard I budget or try to stay on track, we always come out of Costco spending way more than we intended? But, for the essentials it’s so much cheaper to buy in bulk. Plus we only go once or twice a year, so it’s not entirely tragic. Overall, I’m happy with the amount we spent there.
Other expenses this week were that I had to fill up on gas twice. And since gas is extremely expensive at the moment, I’m thinking of adjusting my next monthly budget to reflect the rising cost of gas. How expensive is it? Well where I live in Vancouver, it’s $1.347/litre or $5.10/gallon. I can’t wait until we finally buy a place of our own, and we can move closer to work. Unfortunately the transit system just isn’t good enough where I live, and with the amount of time I’m spending working on freelancing assignments, I can’t afford to take 4 hours out of my day commuting.
Lastly, I am so thrilled that I was able to bring in almost $1,400 of side income in just this week alone. Because of this, I am now on track to earn that extra $25,000 in freelance income this year. Now let’s see if I can keep this pace up!
* This is all income I bring in that is above and beyond my full-time job. Money is primarily made through my two blogs and my graphic design business.
