March 2011 Goals

This month will be the first month this year that I don’t have any traveling planned. That being said, it’s going to be a month of change, so I hope I will be able to stick to my budget. For those that don’t know, BF has spent the last 12 months in school and now, he is a fully certified paramedic! :)

We aren’t sure exactly what is going to happen now, where he is going to end up working, or what that means to my money and our budget. But he will be looking to work up north for 50% of the time for the next 6-12 months. You make a lot more money up there, and that will mean we can start looking at buying property by the end of the year. :)

March 2011 Goals:

• $650 into Retirement Portfolio
• $200 into Travel Fund
  $100 into Emergency Fund
• $555 into savings towards $1,180 initial payment towards braces (due April 4, 2011)
• Make an additional $1,500 above and beyond my FT job
• Sell at least 1 thing on eBay or Craigslist

Ongoing 2011 Annual Goals:

• No buying lunch, snacks or coffee during the work week
• No buying clothing, shoes or accessories until May 19, 2011
• Work out at least 3x/week
