This was a great week. I brought in quite a bit through freelance/side projects, and I kept my expense to a minimum. Of course, it didn’t hurt that 5 of the 7 days of the week I’ve been in New Orleans, where most of my expenses have been covered.

For those curious about Great Canadian Rebate, basically whenever I buy anything online, I look to see if I can click through using my GCR account. If the merchant I want to buy from is listed on GCR, I will get a percentage of my purchase back as a cash rebate. For example, Roots offers 3.3% cash back, the NHL.com store offers 4.5% cash back, and Shoes.com offers 8% cash back. So it definitely adds up.
