No Spend Day!
Please note that I did, of course, spend money while in Toronto. But since I didn’t spend money on anything other than food, transportation, and accommodation, everything will be reimbursed to me by my company. :)
Friday night I went for dinner at East! Restaurant with my best friend from high school and her husband. It was delicious food, and great company. I miss the both of them so much, and I cannot wait to see them again in May.
Saturday night I met up with my PF blogger friends, Asian Pear, Ginger, Melanie and Money Rabbit. We went to The 3 Brewers for dinner, and then Starbucks for a late night chat. They are all such lovely women, and it was so awesome to meet them in person, finally.

Can you explain what “$50.68 iStock credits” are? Is this a dividend or a refund for an error?
It's actually just a site to buy stock photography. :) Each image costs a certain amount of credits.
I'm curious- how do you like iStock? How has your experience been?
A friend suggested I upload some of my photos on to their site as a seller, but it's completely new to me. Any experiences you'd care to share as a buyer?
I actually really like iStock. I only buy my images from there because they are reasonably priced, and I really like the whole website experience. It's easy to use, the search function is good, and a wide variety of images to choose from.
Woohoo! :) I love your no spend days! :)
Glad that you were able to spend time with your high school friends and other PF bloggers :) Sounds like you had an awesome time! :D

The photos you have on your blog are so pretty- iStock seems to have a good selection. About how much are each photo?

It depends what kind of resolution you want the photo to be. I usually get mine high res (300 dpi), and maybe are about $10-20 each. It's more expensive, but worth it because I can potentially use it in print material later on. The only iStock photos I purchase for this website are on my header …. anything else I purchase through iStock is for my graphic design business. :)
