Here is your chance to win an HTC Snap smartphone and 3 months of the $35 Unlimited Talk & Text Plan with Mobilicity!
Mobilicity, Canada’s UNLIMITED 3.5G mobile operator, provides city-based consumers with simple, value-packed talk, text and data plans on its state-of-the-art, unlimited 3.5G network – without contracts, credit checks or hidden charges. Formerly known as Data & Audio Visual Enterprises Wireless Inc. Plus, how often are you able to try out a new wireless network risk-free? Once you’re done your 3 months of free service, the HTC Snap smartphone is yours to keep whether you decide to keep using Mobilicity or not – no strings attached! How awesome is that?
I personally am extremely interested in trying out the Mobilicity network to see how it compares to my current provider (Rogers). I’ve heard mixed reviews on the cellphones.ca website within the Vancouver area, but want to check it out for myself because 1) there is no contract to sign, 2) everything is unlimited and 3) new competition in the wireless market is always interesting and exciting!

- 1 FREE HTC Snap smartphone. Once the 3-months of free service is up, the phone is yours to keep with no strings attached!

Rules:
- Open to Canadian residents ONLY (please visit Mobilicity’s website to see if they have coverage in your area – currently they are servicing Vancouver, Edmonton, Toronto and Ottawa, with Calgary coming soon).
- Contest closes January 5, 2011 at 5pm PST.
- The winner will be picked using Random.org.
- I will announce the winner on January 6th.
- If you are an anonymous commenter, please remember to leave your e-mail address in all of your comments, otherwise your entry will be disqualified.
- For each entry, you must leave a separate comment.
Also be sure to check out the Mobilicity Facebook page. Fans who “Like” Mobilicity on Facebook are eligible to fill out an entry form to win an Unlimited To Go Package and $1,000 cash! There will also be nine additional winners who will receive the Unlimited To Go Package without the cash. AND on top of that, for every “Like” they receive, they will donate $1 to the S’Cool Life Fund (up to $10,000). S’Cool Life Fund is a national non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing Canadian elementary public school programs.

Thats an awesome prize! These up and coming wireless companies I think are going to have to prove themselves to consumers first (who have really been locked into the big 3 providers, Bell, Rogers and Telus, or each of their discount brands, Virgin, Fido, Kodoo). But once they do, I'm hoping to see the cell landscape rocked — our prices are ridiculous here in Canada, any competition is good competition!

Such an awesome contest to be running! Love it! I had such a hard time choosing a new service provider last year at this time..and am intrigued about Mobilicity since I've seen all their transit ads..but like you, mixed reviews.

I’ve seen quite a few ads for mobilicity lately and I’m shopping for a new cell phone. I’m a little nervous to switch because I don’t know anyone who has first-hand experience with tis company but winning this would be a great way to test out their service.

Seeing as I work for a company that will be looking to enter the wireless market at some point in the future as well, I'm interested to see how much ground Mobilicity and Wind Mobile can take from the incumbent Big 3. I know Wind has had it's share of growing pains, but haven't heard much about Mobilicity yet.
