Not a bad week of spending. I bought a 10x drop-in fitness pass – that should last 2.5 months since I only go on Mondays. And then BF and I celebrated our anniversary on Saturday by going out for a delicious sushi dinner and then treated ourselves to expensive but oh-so-delicious gourmet cupcakes. :) It wasn’t necessary but 3 years should be celebrated! And it was a big departure from our trip to Vegas last year for our anniversary.

I could have done without a few of the things I spent money on this week, but overall I’m pleased. I had a few moments of weakness when I was lusting over a pair of Frye boots a few days ago. But even though they are ridiculously expensive ($300-500/pair), I feel like I will eventually invest in a pair because they will last a lifetime and I’ve been wanting a pair of brown boots for years. I saw them across the border a few times for 40-50% off, and I will be heading down there in January, so I will have to take a look then! There are actually a few things I know I want to pick up after I finish up this shopping ban and start on a new one (new one will be from mid-January to mid-May – so 4 months). Not many, but mainly a pair of brown boots, a brown belt (don’t own one), and potentially a few sports bras and field hockey socks that will need replacing.

  3. Weird.. someone at work was talking about Frye boots too! I have never heard of them before you talked about it and she talked about it.

They have Cupcakes on the island too?

No, it wasn't Cupcakes, it was a place called Big City Cupcakes in the Coquitlam Mall. Basically the same thing and same price, but I feel like Big City cupcakes are slightly better? Maybe. I might have to conduct a taste test. :)
