So I am test driving ING Direct’s new chequing account service. I have been a loyal PC Financial customer for the past 4 years, but one think has always irked me: having to pay for e-mail money transfers. ESPECIALLY because you can’t even transfer money between PC chequing accounts. Meaning, I can’t transfer money from my chequing account to BF’s account without having to pay a $1.50 e-mail money transfer fee. November 2010 Goals

November’s budget does not include any Christmas shopping that I may do. I have $400 in my Savings Fund that I have earmarked for presents. I also have a $20 credit with Groupon, and $30 worth of Amazon.ca giftcards thanks to Swagbucks. Plus, BF and I aren’t doing presents for each other this year. Instead, I am selling my Wii and with the money, we are going to either buy an HDPVR or Playstation 3. October 2010 Goals: My Review

I really cut down on my spending this month, and just squeaked in under budget. Although we have really cut down on ordering take out (only 2x this month), I have really gotten into the bad habit of going out for coffee or snacks with my co-workers. Starbucks is expensive and that needs to stop. This job is a lot more social than my other job, where I really just worked by myself and never went for lunch with any of my co-workers. Friday 29th $9.04 Tim Horton’s (bought co-worker lunch b/c I owed her $5) Saturday 30th $10 corner store (movie snacks) $9.90 iTunes (bought Jeremy Fisher’s new album) Sunday 31st $166.82 groceries TOTAL: $222.55 Nothing out of the ordinary here.
