Well the weekend was spendy. I took my car in for its 12-month servicing. I can’t believe I’ve already had it for over a year already! While we were waiting for my car to be ready, I treated BF to breakfast. It was kind of impulsive (and expensive!), but we haven’t gone out to a restaurant since we were in Hawaii over a month ago. It was delicious, but unnecessary.

I also received another cheque from Google. It’s not much, but I’ll take it. :)

Other than that, it was a pretty normal week of spending.

P.S. if you’re wondering why the Cirque du Soleil ticket isn’t reflected in this weekly recap, it’s because my friend bought them for us (so we could sit together), and I will be paying her back this coming weekend when I’m at home.

No, but I did go and the sale was insanely busy. I waited 15 min. to even get in the store, and when I went in there weren't any white long sleeves there. But I did find a sports bra and a pair of running shoes. I waited in line to pay for another 30 min. and ended up having to leave to go back to work and there were still 20-25 people in front of me to pay!

So, I didn't end up getting anything. And in the end I'm glad I still kept my shopping ban alive. I didn't NEED a sports bra or running shoes. I will need them eventually, but figured I could get a similar type of deal around Christmas time or down in the outlet malls.

  3. Haha I guess the line up helped you out! :)

The outlets has some pretty good deals! Maybe you can try going the Black Friday weekend? Unless you are buying electronic stuff, I don't recommend going on the Thursday or Friday cuz it's SUPER busy. The past couple of years, I went on Saturday or Sunday early in the morning and I find that the clothing deals are still there and there are lots to choose from as well & no line ups! :D

I'll actually be heading down to Seattle for work next week so I might try to sneak away during lunch and check out a few stores for Christmas presents. Otherwise I doubt I'll get down there until after Christmas – and there should be some good sales then too. AND I won't be on a shopping ban, so perhaps I can pick up a few 'wants' as well. ;)
