Friday this and that

Well I FINALLY got my $101.99 refund from Blue Cross. My original claim got denied because the company I work for didn’t send in the proper paperwork for my health care. I ended up having to call in four times, and on the 4th call the customer service rep finally said I’d have to re-submit my claim. It was a pain in the butt, but at least I finally got my money. 1st practice down

Last night was my first field hockey practice of the season, and also my first in about 3 years. I need to start running more to beef up my endurance. Also wind sprints. I’m not as young as I used to be! In fact, I’ve literally been playing hockey longer than my teammates have been alive. Anyway, on top of boot camp, field hockey practices & games, I’d like to run once per week for at least 5km. There’s a 6.7 km loop around where I live that I think I’d enjoy doing. Tetrahedron Provincial Park

BF and I went hiking on the Sunshine Coast this past weekend in Tetrahedron Provincial Park. It’s a beautiful area that BF says is never as crowded as anything on the Lower Mainland. We passed 3 other hiking parties on our way to a cabin we hoped to stay in for the night. There are 4 cabins in the park, each very tidy and well-maintained.
