Matching tattoos

Before you start gagging, it’s not BF and I who are getting matching tattoos (I would never do something like that. EVER). :) You’re not going to believe it. My mom wants to get a tattoo. Not just any tattoo. But matching tattoos with my sister and I. My first reaction was that my mom had officially lost it. She was in some crazy midlife crisis, because when I got my first tattoo when I was 18, she flipped out! She wants us to get our last name (in Chinese characters) tattooed wherever we want (I want mine on the … Continue reading

Living paycheque to paycheque

I just read an article on CBC.ca that says in a recent poll, 59% of Canadians live pay cheque to pay cheque. The article also stated that almost half of respondents are saving 5% or less of their income. And 40% of respondents weren’t even attempting to save money at all. Now, okay. There are different options with the program, ranging from 15-20 classes in total. I figure it would take me 3-4 years to complete, depending on how many courses I take at a time. I don’t … Continue reading

A new fitness routine

Last night was my first bootcamp class, and I was pleasantly surprised at how hard I was pushed. I was probably the most fit person in the class, but I was still pushed hard enough to feel quite sore this morning. I’d LOVE to add another bootcamp class to my weekly routine, but can’t really afford it at this point. And I’m really looking forward to a nice, easy 30-45 min. run tonight to work out a bit of the stiffness in my body. So my weekly workout schedule looks something like this right now: Monday: 1 hour bootcamp class … Continue reading
