Planning a trip home

So my sister and I are planning our annual Sister Trip for the year. Last year we went on an Alaskan cruise, and this year we went to Mexico, but that wasn’t a real Sister Trip. So we’ve decided just to go up island to Coombs. :) Although, for those of you who’ve been to Coombs, you know how cute and awesome a day trip there can be. Hiking trip this weekend

Well after our epic long weekend hiking fail, we’re planning an overnight hike tomorrow with 2 or 3 of BF’s friends. It’s about a 3.5 hour drive from Vancouver, then onto some logging roads. I was worried because I have private insurance through CDI and didn’t want … Continue reading

So for the last year or so I’ve been using an Excel spreadsheet to track my finances. The only reason I’ve been using Excel is because my PC emulator on my iMac kept getting an error so I couldn’t access my Quicken program in Windows XP (Quicken was the only reason I even had a PC emulator on my computer in the first place). I had Quicken for Mac that I could have used, but for those who have tried it before, you know just how awful it is. It is seriously just a piece of garbage. Quicken also had … Continue reading
