Yikes. What a freaking spendy week!
I budgeted $300 for the wedding, and ended up spending $289.97 (all Friday & Saturday expenses). This did not include the wedding gift which I haven’t given yet. I will be seeing the bride next week and will give it to her then – a card and $100 cash. Maybe also a nice bottle of wine.
I tend to want to go with the total amount without the laptop as my official weekly spending, because the weekly spending recaps are only supposed to be spending that is affected by my monthly budget – and since the laptop wasn’t taken out of my regular FT income, it doesn’t technically count. But I put both numbers up there just so that you know. I did indeed spend $2,600 this past week on a computer.
Without the laptop purchase or the wedding … the spending for the week doesn’t look too bad. Ha! :)

Was Inception any good?
Congrats on your new Macbook Pro!!
It was a pretty interesting movie. I mean, not the best I've ever seen, but I was never bored and the story line was so complex. It's impressive to me that someone could even come up with such an idea for a movie and be able to put it down on paper. Ellen Page was WAY better than I thought she was going to be. I wasn't sure how she'd be since I've only really seen her in Juno, but I'm impressed. Leo DiCaprio was good, as usual. Joseph Gordon-Levitt was decent too. I'd like to see the movie again when it comes out on DVD.
Good to know!! I'm so stingy when it comes to spending money on going to the Theatre.
If you want to see an EXCELLENT Ellen Page movie, rent Hard Candy. Amazing! I love her, excellent little actress.

Lots of big purchases lately, car, bike, computer. Isn't buying a expensive computer the same as buy 10 pairs of $200 shoes?
Yup if you want to look at it that way, it sure is.

I had a bit of a giggle when I saw how much you had spent last week. And then proudly right in the middle in bold green print was " NO SPEND DAY " :)
That was some week !!!!!!!!
