This past weekend was busy. Friday evening BF and I rushed to get to the ferry terminal after work. My friend’s wedding was beautiful. There were 400+ guests there and everybody was dressed in beautiful saris. The temple was also very nice. I didn’t know anyone there except one high school friend and her BF, so I stuck with them most of the time. It was an all-day wedding, with morning tea, ceremony, lunch, then the reception in the evening. The food was fantastic – best Indian food I’ve ever had! My friend looked beautiful and I’m really happy for her.
We didn’t make a ferry reservation on the way back. That was a huge mistake. We got to the terminal just before 2pm, and didn’t get on a ferry until 5:20pm. :( That’s a 2 sailing wait, folks. Oh well. At least we saved $17.50 for the reservation fee?
Yesterday BF and I went to the pet store to pick out 2 new fish. Our tank was looking empty with only one big snail and 3 baby snails. The fish are so cute – they stick together and never leave each other’s side. I’m hoping that once they get used to the tank, they’ll venture out a bit more. Unless they both die, like the first fish I had.
Oh, and I also want to publicly comment that J.Money over at Budgets Are Sexy was all the way over here visiting (and LOVING) my hometown and didn’t even think to call me. Hmph!

I have never ever been made to regret making reservations for the ferry. I have though on many occasions been standed at Departure Bay cursing my lazyness…I hate the ferrys.

I know, what is wrong with that guy? He even took the Ferry TWICE while there! You'd think that would have at least rang some bells ;)

I would love to go to an Indian Wedding one of these days. I love all the ceremony attached to their big day, glad you enjoyed it.
Yeah, it was kind of insane how long it all was. I wish I knew what was happening during the ceremony!

Wow, 400 people! There must have been lots of good dancing!
I can't believe J.Money was here up in Canada and he didn't say 'hi' to you, me, or frugaldreamer. =)
