August 2010 Monthly Goals

August is going to be another weird month. That means spendy. BF and I have an out-of-town wedding to attend, his family is coming for a week, and I’m hoping to go home for a weekend because I haven’t been back since June. That will depend on my money situation, of course.

Also, as you probably know I plan on buying a MacBook Pro this week or next week. I did not include this into my monthly budget because the money isn’t coming out of my FT job cash flow (which is what my monthly budget is based on). It’s coming out of side business money and blog income, plus the little I have saved up in my Savings Fund ($300+).

August 2010 Goals:

  • Work out 2-3x/week.
  • Make an additional $500 in side income.
  • $600 into Retirement Portfolio
  • Work on my blog and make it ready for transition (which should happen late August)
  • Sell my iMac computer for >$900
  • $200 into Emergency Fund
  • $250 into Savings Fund
