Yikes, I forgot that I hadn’t posted this last week. Better late than never! Please note that for the Seattle weekend I brought down about $100 US that was unused from the trip to Mexico. That $$ will not account for any daily spending as it was already accounted for in a previous trip budget (and does not affect my current budget as I didn’t actually take any money out of my bank), if that makes sense. Also, my friend and I still haven’t tallied up how much we owe each other for the trip, as we both paid for … Continue reading
Sorry for not being around to blog much lately. I’ve been SWAMPED at work with so many projects, and will be out of town next week while in Vegas. I’ve got some great ideas to blog about, so stay tuned. Oh, and did I mention that this weekend I’m going to Seattle with a girlfriend to watch 2 baseball games, drink wine, and shop? I’m so excited! Well, not for the shopping part. I’ve got nothing that I need (or much money to spend), but I do want to try to find a nice dress to wear for the wedding … Continue reading
After humming and hawing for a few months, I finally decided to get rid of my 6pm early evenings calling option on my iPhone (cost was $7/month!). Last month I only used my phone for 49 minutes total for the ENTIRE MONTH, and the month before was only 53 minutes. BF and I usually text or make really quick calls to each other, and any time I need to make a call during the daytime, I just use my office phone. In case you’re curious, here’s how my iPhone plan with Rogers breaks down: $17.50/month 200 anytime minutes Unlimited evenings/weekends … Continue reading
This morning I spent $276, all of which will be coming out of my Savings Fund. $66 mandatory field hockey insurance (valid 1 year) $210 team fees for the upcoming season (September-May) BF and I did not renew our rock climbing membership or ski pass, so I feel okay spending this much on another sport. I have all the necessary equipment, and a uniform is provided – except for socks, which I’ll have to buy. And I’m REALLY particular about skirts, so if it’s not the right kind of skirt, I’ll have to buy my own. But that shouldn’t be … Continue reading
A little late with July’s budget, but better late than never, right!? This month I accounted for higher grocery costs as well as the Cable/Internet bill. I’m not sure if that’s going to be enough, but it will be a work in progress and I can always fix the budget for August. Also, I will be out of town for 7 days this month, so I’m not sure how that will affect the budget either. I have about $100 US in cash left over from Mexico, so I’ll bring that to Vegas and that should be enough spending money. July … Continue reading
