Hello, Sister

So, my sister found my blog a couple of days ago. She said that she was Googling for Shaw Cable’s student promotional rates, and since I just blogged about it a few weeks ago, my post came up in her search. At least I know that Google is indexing my blog properly! :)
This is the first time a family member has seen my blog (that I know of). It’s a little weird, but I don’t really mind. I’ve asked her to keep it a secret until I stop blogging anonymously (sometime next month). I still don’t really know how I’m going to organize this blog when that happens, so I’m really going to have to figure that out.

That would be very weird to have a family member stumble across an anonymous blog. I had to giggle when at the bottom it has 'related posts' and one of them was from 2009 and says "My sister's christmas present". Good thing she found this after Christmas.

Oooh! :-) I honestly don't know what I would do if my family found out about my blog. But then my blog is so new, I don't really know what I am doing anyway :-)

I think that is the risk of an anonymous blog.
I honestly think it gives more credibility to the blogger – depends on the topic.

My sister has always found my blog. She net stalks me. it's creepy and frustrating, but im use to it. She brought my journal to high school and let everyone read it, so naturally she would stalk my blog. Hopefully things with your sister are on better terms.
It's fine. Just show yourself. I mean everyone uses real names in facebook and other blogs. It's not like you are rich; you only make an average salary. I think all finance blogs people need to stop hiding. I don't see a point. so what if you know how much you have. They ain't going to try to steal it. Also, what about people that work in human resources and give our paychecks. They know what others make. So what? I know who you are. You are a short, cute, little, shinny, black hair, chinese babe. I think.
I'm quite excited! Maybe I'll see you around Vancouver sometime, but I would know you, but you wouldn't know me! =) Good luck with your big reveal- it take a lot of guts to do it, I'm sure. So what was your sister's reaction? =)

She actually didn't seem too surprised? She knew I had a blog, but I guess she was never inclined to actually search for me. I doubt she'll read this blog on a regular basis anyway; personal finance is definitely not something she's interested in.
