Give Me Back My Five Bucks

Yesterday I got a cheque in the mail from Google Adsense for $133.38! Woo hoo! I’ve had Google Adsense installed on my blog for 1 year now, and in those 12 months I’ve made $250. Not a lot, but not too shabby either. I’ve recently joined another advertising network so we’ll see how that plays out. In part-time job-related news, I’ve thought about getting a job at a fitness or recreation centre. Now I’m not talking about being a fitness instructor, but rather a weight room attendant. This will be kind of a random post. Over the weekend I bought my first tinted lipgloss ever. L’Oreal Colour Juice Sheer Lip Gloss (#240 Cherry on Top), if you must know. :) I’ve never even tried lipstick before (except for when I had my make-up and hair done for my grade 12 grad – and hated it). So at work, I just got the Adobe CS5 upgrade. Let me tell you – IT IS AMAZEBALLS. I wish I had time just to play around with it and figure out how all the new features work. But I’m just so swamped at my job, it’s just kind of status quo as far as design goes. Which brings me to my next big purchase: a new personal computer. Yesterday BF and I went for a walk in Stanley Park. It was such a gorgeous day. We then walked into downtown, ate cupcakes from Cupcakes, and then went to Guu in Gastown for dinner. It’s not a restaurant we’d normally go to because it’s expensive, but delicious ($35 each for 7 dishes plus drinks, after tax/tip) … and we had been wanting to go back since we went there for our 2nd date ever.
