Appointments = $$$

So I booked my car’s 6-month (10,000km) maintenance check-up for this weekend. I wanted to buy a few accessories for my car (would have totaled about $275), but decided against it. I have the money in my Car Fund, but would rather that go towards my car insurance (due in November) or an extra car payment (my goal was to make 3 extra payments this year).

I also booked an appointment with my doctor. I will have to renew my BC prescription next month, but am extremely pleased that with my new health coverage, I will only have to pay the dispensing fee. And I think that’s around $6?

Keeping on with the appointments, I booked a hair appointment for 2 weeks from now, when BF and I are back in my hometown. I haven’t gotten my hair cut since February, so it’s time. This will probably run me $45 after tax/tip.

Also, I want to book a massage therapy appointment, but I’m pretty sure that in order for it to be covered under my medical, I need a doctor’s recommendation. I’ll have to double check that with HR.

    Always a great idea to have a car fund. My little old bomb has just cost me $400.00 for a new distributor cap plus the cost of the tow to the Garage
