I have huge, massive blisters on the bottom of my feet, on the heels. I got them on my 1 hour power walk over the 10th. Which is weird, because I walk all the time. I was wearing my VFFs, but that’s still weird because I’ve run before in them and have been fine. I guess I strike differently when I walk, and also I’ve never run outside with them – always on a treadmill. So, I still haven’t heard back from the job. I think they’ve offered the position to someone else, and haven’t contacted the other candidates yet just in case that person decides not to accept their offer. I’m feeling a bit sad, and am dreading the rejection phone call or e-mail. People have been so ridiculously annoying about the entire job search. Okay! So with the Michigan wedding being called off, BF and I can focus our money towards my friend’s wedding in Hawaii (which we can now afford to go to) for the end of September. A couple that I know owns a condo in the area of Hawaii where the wedding will be, so they will rent it to us at a reduced rate for the duration of our stay there. :) On top of that, I have around a $500 travel credit on my Amex to use. Well, yesterday I applied for one job. I’m not sure what’s happening, because it seems like there are no postings anymore. I hope it’s just a little dry spell, and more will start to pop up in the coming weeks. As for the job I’ve been interviewing for? They called me yesterday morning and told me that they would be calling my references. And I haven’t heard back from them since.
