Now we can go to the other wedding
Okay! So with the Michigan wedding being called off, BF and I can focus our money towards my friend’s wedding in Hawaii (which we can now afford to go to) for the end of September. A couple that I know owns a condo in the area of Hawaii where the wedding will be, so they will rent it to us at a reduced rate for the duration of our stay there. :) On top of that, I have around a $500 travel credit on my Amex to use. Very, very excited.
This year I’m already traveling to Mexico with my family … and now potentially Hawaii … and a planned trip to Thailand at the very end of December. Although if I don’t get a job by the fall, the Thailand trip will definitely have to be put on hold. I still want to try to get to Michigan soon to visit my broken-hearted friend, but I can’t do anything without a job. So that will just have to wait.
