Give Me Back My Five Bucks

Some people have commented that I’ve changed little things about the blog – the names of people, the banner, little details, etc. Most of it is to protect myself a bit better. I’m not sure it does any good, since I think most of my readers are long-time readers anyway, but it does make me feel a bit better about continuing to blog under an “anonymous” mask that’s not so anonymous. So just in case you were wondering, that’s why. :) Oh, and also – comment moderation is on and will stay on for the time being.

I woke up in the middle of the night with a panic attack. I was dreaming that I didn’t have enough money to retire, and was living on the streets as an old woman. BF was with me too. I guess he didn’t have enough money to retire either. So I guess it wasn’t so much a dream, than an absolute nightmare. It must be a sign. I need to start saving more into my Retirement Portfolio. Right now I’m contributing $550/month. I’m going to step that up to $600/month and see how that goes. $50/month extra isn’t a lot, … Continue reading →

Just doing some general site maintenance and house cleaning today! :) Hopefully there will be a brand new, gorgeous GMBMFB to show you tomorrow. Or maybe after the weekend is over. I had a few technical problems last night – thanks to my Twitter friends for helping me out! :) That means I’m finally moving over to WordPress (hoorah!!!)
