I started a job after only 2.5 months of being unemployed. Take it day by day, stay calm. It's tough when you are a type A person and something happens to you that is out of your control. Definitely take a week or two to do some things like hiking, etc to get your mind right again and then start the job hunt. If you need any advice dont hesitate to email me as I just went through nearly the exact same thing but in an accounting position instead of marketing. This same thing happened to me in August.
