Give Me Back My Five Bucks

I wrote yesterday that I’ve made an additional $615 this month. Well I’m happy to report that today, I made an additional $65 from something selling on eBay – was listed for less than 24 hours before it sold. :) So that brings my additional income total to $680 for February, with pending transactions still to come this month. Plus there are more things on eBay that I’d like to sell. Namely, I’m thinking of selling my LG X120 netbook. Did Level 3 successfully yesterday. I am feeling a lot stronger. I will do Level 1 & Level 3 tomorrow, because for some reason my battery pack for my Wii balance board isn’t connecting. So until I can figure that out, Wii Fit is not available to me. But on a positive note – I’ve lost another pound, bringing my total weight loss to 5 lbs. since the beginning of the year. :)

I belong to the Dairy Queen e-mail newsletter, along with all the other bad-for-me newsletters (J.Crew anyone!?). Well DQ always sends out 2-for-1 coupons. And usually I can resist, but last night I couldn’t. And I was torn. I checked online and the blizzard I wanted (Turtle Pecan Cluster) had 789 calories for a small. I immediately felt guilty. There was no way I could justify eating that many calories. Especially when my daily calorie budget is around 1400-1500. Well, if you follow me on Twitter, you’ll probably know that my friend bailed on me for dinner/movie last night, citing a lack of money. Again. For the third time in a row, and the third pay period in a row. And even though it was only 3 days since pay day. But whatever. I’m just going to roll with it. One of my goals for February was to make an additional $450. I am happy to report that just 2 days into the month, I have already made an extra $615. :) I do have a bit more money that should be coming to me by the end of this month. Maybe I can make it to $800? I have a couple of things that I want to sell on eBay (have been meaning to list them since December!) … so hopefully I can motivate myself to list them.
