Well this weekend went from one extreme (lazy) to the other (super active). Saturday we really didn’t do much, except give our place a good cleaning. We had grand plans to go climbing and then hiking, but really couldn’t get up the energy to do it. BF had been on course all week and was exhausted, and I had been getting up at 5:30am every morning and working out twice a day. It was nice to sleep in, even if it was only until 8am. Sunday we went for a 10km hike around Golden Ears. I wish we had gone … Continue reading
I knew it would be hard for me to keep up with my 30 Day Shred over the weekends, since weekends are usually our time to do whatever outdoorsy activities we weren’t able to do during the work week. But I dragged myself out of bed and forced myself to do Day 5, Level 2. I was half asleep during warm-up! This was my 2nd day at Level 2. It was actually quite a bit easier than yesterday. I did just over 60 min. of yoga/strength, stretching & balance games last night, and I think that helped because I’m not even really sore this morning. I’m still having a bit of difficulty … Continue reading
