February 2010 Monthly Goals

Here is my budget for February. Not much has changed. I’m planning a trip home for Chinese New Year (Travel), and my Entertainment is at $150 because of Valentine’s Day. We are going on a dinner/movie date (my treat), so I budgeted an extra $50 for the month for that outing.
February Goals:
- Workout 6x/week
- $200 into Savings Fund
- $100 into Emergency Fund
- $600 into Retirement Portfolio (RRSP & TFSA)
- $50 into Car Fund
- $150 into Property Fund
- $50 into Travel Fund
- List at least 3 things on eBay
- Make an extra $450 this month

what a waste of $540; oh well if it makes you happy and you can get $540 worth of value from using it then it's splendid deal

Wow! I must read your previous posts to see how your rent is $150. Thank you for posting this – I love to see how other people around my age budget and compare. I wish I could get down to $25 on personal care. I am forcing myself to get my hair colored only every other month and suffer with the roots in between. After my wedding I may go back to natural color or doing it myself but too many important events coming up in the next few months to not have my beautiful (and expensive) strawberry blonde.
