Yesterday I did Level 2. I can do the entire level without stopping (following Natalie?, the advanced girl), but do you know what really kills me? Those stupid plank jacks. I feel like death when I’m doing them. Everything else is fine. Although that second set of military presses really burn. So in light of being able to do Level 2, I think I will move onto Level 3 this weekend.
I secretly want to be able to do back-to-back shred levels by the end of these 30 days.
After shredding, I stretched and relaxed for an hour with J while we watched Dragon’s Den. Then I did 40 min. of yoga/strength & balance on my Wii Fit.
Question for all you Shredders, how heavy are the weights you’re using?

Haha. Not very. I started with I think 2 lb weights and then upgraded to 5 lbers. Arm strength has never been my thing though.
I use 5 lbs for most things in Level 1 (except the squat and press and the side lunge/arm lift, then I use 3 lbs). I use 3 lbs only for Level 2. I haven't tried Level 3 yet. Good luck with that one! Report back!
I only use 5lb weights… anything lighter than that is too light for me, but 10lbs kills me. haha!!
I used 3 lbs today and yesterday but might move up to 5lbs tomorrow. I am sooo sore though, it isn't funny. I lift 15lb at the gym doing rows, arm raises, and curls so how how how can this 30 minute exercise with 3lb tapes be killin gme?

I just did day 3, I'm still on level 1. I use the 5lbs weights and feel like my arms are killing me!
I've been using 5 lbs for the entire level 2 workout…although today I think i will move up to 8 lbs for the static lunge back pulls. The plank jacks and squat thrusts are killer!!
