Day 4: 30 Day Shred

This month I have worked out for 16 days so far. Meaning, I haven’t missed a single day, except for the 5 days I was away on vacation. I’ve only lost about 1 pound, but I feel a lot stronger. And I’d like to be more active outside, but BF is on course this week with lots of homework, so the Shred DVD & my Wii will work for now. But this weekend I’d really like to get out skiing, or snow shoeing, or even for a little hike. As well as get to the climbing gym.

Anyway, today was Day 4 of the 30 Day Shred for me. I decided to go ahead to Level 2, because I’m always up for a challenge! :) I don’t know about all of you, but Level 2 was definitely a lot harder than Level 1. I got through it and I feel good, but it was challenging. I’m going to have to work on my core a lot more, as well as my flexibility. Which means secondary workouts in the evenings (even if it’s just doing some crunches, along with yoga and balance games on the Wii) and stretching. Lots and lots of stretching.

I don't know how you do it! I'm on Day 2 Level 1 of the Shred and I am dying. I love it though. With most workouts I get bored of just marching around. Jillian just keeps you moving that you don't have anytime to slack off.

Same here! I am sooo not ready for level 2. The ab part is the only part I can get through without wanting to turn it off! I am in pain today and today will only be day 3!! It's gotta get easier!

I'm so going to go out and get this. What do I need beside the DVD and hand weights? Anything?

Grad School Girl: Nope, that's all you need! :)

You need to post a day in the life of, because I'm seriously amazing at all you do in one day.

Congrats on being consistent with the working out! I need to get back to the gym badly. Maybe I should look into trying the 30 day shred too, so at least it's a work out I can do at home. I've heard a lot of good things about it.
