Where the $50 went …

Last week I asked everyone what I should do with my unexpected $50 windfall. Most people told me I should put it towards my purse purchase, or at least buy something nice for myself. And I definitely considered that option, but I already have more than enough to buy the exact purse I want (yup, I found it on eBay and am just waiting to bid on it) AND the exact shoes I want (again, found it on eBay for an amazing price) with the $350 I have to spend.

So, over the weekend BF and I went to Costco to pick up some essentials. And that’s where my $50 went. Boring, I know. But we desperately needed to buy chicken, quinoa and other items that we were getting quite low on.

I’m pleased that I spent the money responsibly, and I’m also very pleased that I was able to find a gorgeous purse and shoes without going over budget and have to spend “real” money. Any extra money left over will go towards regular monthly expenses. Now I just have to win those auctions. Fingers crossed!
