This and that over the weekend

Well we didn’t end up going hiking this weekend. But, we did go on a 2.5 hr. walk on Saturday (beautiful day), and a 2.5 hr. hike yesterday (rainy and miserable). So all was not lost. I would have really liked to climb another mountain, but hopefully we’ll have a chance next month to go. Interesting! So I plugged in my address (don’t forget to put in the city as well, because the first time I tried, I got a place in Texas), and our place got a 31 out of 100. Not good at all! But I already knew … Continue reading

Going hiking this weekend

I’m happy that it’s Friday already. :) BF and I are planning on going hiking this weekend. But we’re not sure if it’s going to be an overnight hike or just a day hike on Sunday. It depends if he has to work OT tomorrow. BUT, I am super excited to finally go hiking (we haven’t gone in over a month) and my fingers are crossed that he doesn’t have to work tomorrow so that we can go climb a mountain (and fulfill one of my goals for 2009 – which was to climb 4 mountains). The only down side … Continue reading
