Weekend plans

I’ve been really wanting to try out my new ridiculously expensive mountaineering boots, but it doesn’t look like we’ll be able to get a hike in this weekend.

Tomorrow BF is going with a bunch of other people to clean up a hike-in camping area. I think I’m going to go too. Apparently the camping area is just disgusting. How do people just leave their garbage lying around like that? It makes me sick. We clean up everything when we go camping – and we leave the place exactly like we found it. The day will probably be long and tiring.

Anyway, then on Sunday I’m going down to Seattle with a friend to watch the Mariners vs. Yankees. I hate both teams with an undying passion, so there will be a lot of heckling. Although it gets confusing. I heckle the batter, but then I heckle the pitcher. Often times I get confused looks from other fans. The ticket cost me $33.75, which is typical. If I were planning the trip, I’d choose the cheapo bleacher seats (much more fun – unless it’s a game I really want to see, then I fork over the $$$ to get as close to field level as possible). Oh well, it will be nice to catch a ball game before the season ends.
