A fitness update

I did a 60 min. workout on my Wii last night. I feel good this morning, and hopefully I’ll be able to do another workout tonight. Some of the exercises I was doing were really hard. Like 3 sets of lunges followed by squats with calf raises, and then squat holds. By the time I got to squat holds, I was dying. I’m a little disappointed in the resistance level of the bands in the accessory pack that I bought. I’m already at the hardest resistance. The low and medium bands don’t do anything for me at all. But maybe it’s because I’m so short, and they’re mass produced for people who are taller.

And also, I’m disappointed that EA Sports Active doesn’t have any core exercises. I have to use my exercise ball after my workouts to make sure that I’m doing enough.

Anyway, now that we’re not going traveling, I really really wished I had joined that hockey team (didn’t join b/c there was no point in buying a new uniform & gear if I was only going to play for 1 season before traveling). It’s too late now, the season is underway and tryouts were 2 months ago. Oh well.
