Getting my hair cut tomorrow

So I booked myself a hair appointment tomorrow at lunchtime. It’s at a very conveniently located salon right by my work. Plus they are the most chic looking salon in the area. All the other ones have stenciled signs and faded posters – and the stylists all look like they should be working at one of those cheapo $10 cut places that BF always goes to. And while I’m sure they cost less, I’m not willing to risk it. Cost for this new salon? $40. Before tip, of course. Cheaper than I expected for Vancouver. I used to pass the salon every day on my walk home from work (when I lived around there), and I always wanted to try them.

I used to tell my stylist to do whatever she wanted to do with my hair. But I’m afraid to give that kind of control to someone I don’t really know. Most stylists keep my hair long, and then just play with the layers and front fringe. So we’ll see what happens!
