Well now that fall is just around the corner and everyone is getting back from summer holidays, I thought I’d start up the West Coast PF meet-up discussion again. We’re tentatively looking at the May 2010 long weekend (22-23-24) in Seattle! Please e-mail me at krystalatwork [at] gmail [dot] com. I’m going to send out another e-mail to the group sometime this afternoon, so even if you’re a little interested but not really sure, just add yourself to the list to stay informed! :)
Well, this weekend wasn’t as productive as we had planned, but it was still nice. Our original plan was to go rock climbing on Saturday (which we did – and I climbed my first 5.10b!), and then go for a long day hike on Sunday. Well, the hike BF had wanted to do would have been at least 12 hrs. long – too much for me to consider as a day hike, especially because it would have taken 3 hrs. round trip by car just to get to that area. Then I guess we didn’t have a backup plan, so … Continue reading
I bought a new bathing suit. It was kind of an impulse purchase, but that’s okay – it’ll be my first new suit in 3 or 4 years, so I don’t feel too bad about it. My current bathing suit is okay, but I’m always afraid of ruining it … Continue reading
Yesterday evening BF and I went grocery shopping. My total came to $50.50 – which is more than I would usually spend. But this is also our 1st grocery shopping trip of the month (we’re already halfway done the month, and I think this might be my only grocery trip this month), so we were in dire need of a lot of things. I also picked up a 4-pack of veggie ground round for $8.99, some fish and a block of cheese. Then we came home and he made fajitas for dinner. And tonight he’s going to make Indian. Sometimes … Continue reading
I recently read on Christina’s blog (Stories from a Country Girl) that she received a Snuggie as a gift from her boyfriend. I am always making fun of that infomercial with my sister and mom … and for that reason, I’m going to buy them both one for Christmas. :) It’ll be hilarious! I haven’t thought about Christmas until now, but it’s a good thing I’m starting. Last year I got most of my shopping done by the time summer was over. That left me completely stress-free come the holidays, and I was able to enjoy myself a lot more. … Continue reading
