Yesterday I was chatting with a friend and he asked if I was on LinkedIn. I said no, but immediately went to sign up for it. So my friend who’s program got canceled a few days ago … he told me that they had a meeting with their professors, and the teachers are going to leave the school, get the program accredited on their own, and open up their own design school. Ballsy! So instead of him starting school next month, they’ll start up in January. They’ve spent years creating the curriculum, so they’re qualified – and now it’s just about getting studio space. I’ve been feeling exhausted and run down over the past few weeks. I don’t even know why. We had a 3-day weekend at the beginning of August, so it’s not like I haven’t gone away and had a relaxing time somewhere. But I’m glad that this cruise is coming up (THREE DAYS!!!). Today after work BF and I are going to the rock climbing gym. I’m really excited to make progress on Saturday’s session, where I climbed my first 5.10b. It’s the hardest numbered route I’ve done before, but I’ve got 5.10 routes that I haven’t been able to do still, so it’s definitely not the hardest overall route I’ve ever done.
