Yesterday I received a cheque for $360 in the mail. I’m done one of the design contracts, and they’re already asking me to take on a few more projects. I told them to send me the information and I’ll take a look at it when I return from Alaska. As for the other contract I’m working on, I’ve gotten 1 printing quote and am just waiting on another one before I wrap up the contract. I’m hoping to get the invoice off today, but I’m pretty sure that will have to wait until I get back.

I love Smoking Lily. It’s such a great store, and I officially am in love with the items below: New Market Dress ($82), Ship Disturber Top ($92) & Ampersand Tunic ($128). But why does everything have to be sooooo expensive!? :( Too rich for my blood. Maybe I’ll treat myself to one of these items for my birthday in October.
Things that I’m looking forward to that will inevitably cost me money: The Boy Who Knew Too Much – Mika. Make fun of me if you want, but I totally love Mika and I cannot wait for his new CD. I saw him live at the Orpheum Theatre with my cousin last year, and it was FANTASTIC. Gloves. I need to get ski gloves for the winter.
