Are you using LinkedIn?

Yesterday I was chatting with a friend and he asked if I was on LinkedIn. I said no, but immediately went to sign up for it. After filling out my profile, I went to import some contacts from my e-mail accounts. Wow. Seriously nobody I know uses that website. I think I requested less than 30 connections that I would even consider using professionally. And that’s about it. I don’t even want to upload a picture of myself on that website. We’ll see how it works out. I can see how it could be beneficial to me, but also I think it’s kind of lame.
