Bought a bathing suit

I bought a new bathing suit. It was kind of an impulse purchase, but that’s okay – it’ll be my first new suit in 3 or 4 years, so I don’t feel too bad about it. It cost me $49.99 after shipping and tax, which is about 50% off the regular price.

Normally I would be wary about buying a bathing suit on the internet. But I’ve always owned this brand of swimsuit, and I’ve always bought the same size. So I’m sure it will be fine.

My current bathing suit is okay, but I’m always afraid of ruining it (it’s got 2 layers, and the top layer always snags on everything). It’s more of a “lying in the sun” suit. This new one is more sporty and more appropriate for camping-type activities, as well as for the pool after workouts.

I kind of hope that I get it for Alaska, but I’m not counting on it.
