Thinking up Christmas present ideas

I recently read on Christina’s blog (Stories from a Country Girl) that she received a Snuggie as a gift from her boyfriend. I am always making fun of that infomercial with my sister and mom … and for that reason, I’m going to buy them both one for Christmas. :) It’ll be hilarious! I haven’t thought about Christmas until now, but it’s a good thing I’m starting. Last year I got most of my shopping done by the time summer was over. That left me completely stress-free come the holidays, and I was able to enjoy myself a lot more.

I’m watching a few Snuggies on eBay right now, and they seem to be going for around $20-25 after shipping. Not bad, and totally worth it because for how much my mom and sister both make fun of them, I know they’d secretly use it all the time.

Also I think I’m going to buy a really nice cross stitching project and frame it for my mom for Christmas. I’ll start looking on eBay right now for something nice, but I can’t start on it until I’ve finished my current baby cross stitching project.

As for the other part of my sister’s present … I have no idea. Perhaps something for her new Macbook Pro … or maybe there’ll be a cool concert announcement and I can take her to that. Although I know she’s been wanting to go to the spa, so maybe we can get a massage and facials together or something like that.

I haven’t thought about what to get my dad or BF. Or anyone for his family … and I also haven’t set up a budget for Christmas presents, but I probably should. It’s only August, but it will be December before you know it!
