This weekend BF is in NYC (he leaves Friday super early and returns late Tuesday night. I’m going back home for the weekend to visit family. Most friends are out of town on vacations, so I won’t get to see much of them. But that’s okay. I can just hang out and relax.
Here is my budget for the weekend home:
Friday
$14 ferry
$25 parking
Saturday
$5 gym
$12 movie w/sister
Sunday
$10 gym
$12 breakfast
$28 baseball game w/dad ($14 per ticket)
$14 ferry
TOTAL = $120
Definitely more expensive than normal. I’d like to get my hair cut as well, but I can probably wait a bit. It’s only been 9 weeks since my last cut. Also, I usually don’t pay for parking b/c BF drives me to the ferry terminal, or if we’re both going across, we split the cost. And the baseball game? We’ve never gone to see this team play, but I figure that it would be nice to take my dad to watch a ball game. Other than that, the weekend costs are about normal for me.
I haven’t been home in over 2 months, so I don’t mind spending extra on this trip. I used to go 1-3 times per month, and that got to be too expensive.
