Sister is coming to visit in 2 days! :)

I am so excited for my sister to come visit! She hasn’t been back to Vancouver since our failed trip to Idaho back in April. This will be a proper visit – without any major car crashes. Knock on wood.

Unfortunately plans are up in the air and I’m not exactly sure what we’ll be doing, except that for sure we’re going to the Death Cab For Cutie concert on Thursday night. And I’ll probably spend $40 on dinner that night for myself, sister & BF. We’re going to a yummy Chinese restaurant around where I used to live when I first moved to Vancouver (because we won’t have time to go home and eat before the concert). They make good Peking duck, and that’s pretty much why we’re going.

Friday my sis and I will have lunch around my work, and then we’ll head down across the border to the outlet mall. I’m looking for a pair of flats for work, as well as perhaps a few summer dresses or skirts. I’ll probably fill up in the US because gas is cheaper down there, and then we’ll have dinner at home or go somewhere cheapo to eat (maybe our favourite Vietnamese place).

Saturday I’m hoping that the 3 of us can do something fun together. We were originally thinking the Grouse Mtn. zip line b/c we have $35 off coupons that came with our ski passes … but it’s like $120 or something per person, and that’s just too expensive, even with the coupons. My sister isn’t very outdoorsy, but not that it matters since BF is gimped for a while anyway.
