Uggg. I’ve called Canada Post 3 times, and have personally gone down to the post office to ask about my situation, and everyone is giving me different answers. I called the post office where my passport is being held. The woman said I would have to go down to my local post office and pick up a Letter of Authorization Form. Then fax in the signed form with a piece of ID to her post office. She said that the clerk at the post office I go to would have to witness it, sign it, and send it in for … Continue reading

I want my passport

My passport got sent to my home address. It’s sitting there at the post office by my house, waiting for me to pick it up. The only problem is I live in Vancouver. And they denied my mom when she went to try to pick it up for me. Fair enough. But I swear that I put my current mailing address on my passport application. Weekend spending recap

$43.54 – groceries. Higher than normal (usually around $35/week), but this included toilet paper ($5.99). $29.69 – tire patch. One of my front tires had a small leak in it. We decided it would be a nice gesture to bring a bottle of wine for the President, who was hosting a company … Continue reading

After work yesterday, BF made a delicious dinner of snapper (with butter, pepper and a little bit of Thai sauce) over quinoa with onions and mushrooms and a big helping of steamed broccoli. Delicious! See, we can cook just fine without a stove. :) Today after work if the weather holds up, I think we’re going to go downtown (for basically the first time in months and months – definitely the first time this year). The plan is to pick up something cheap for dinner and go walk along the beach. The weather report says it should be sunny during … Continue reading

Swagbucks on Twitter!

Yesterday Swagbucks had their first ever Twitter trivia game – where if you’re one of the first to answer one of their questions, you win Swag Bucks. 2 people won 2 bucks, 3 people won 3 bucks, and 5 people won 5 bucks. I saw all 3 questions, but only won 2 Swag Bucks. Which is better than nothing I guess. I’ve already redeemed 45 Swag Bucks for a $5 Amazon.ca gift certificate (Amazon cards are the best value for your Swag Bucks, plus I want a couple of books). I currently have 39 Swag Bucks in my account, so … Continue reading
