My car is fixed already. The damage? $50.60!!! :) I’m really happy. Apparently it was just a broken switch. In other car-related news, I just paid my violation ticket for the car accident. My first ticket ever – in over 8 years of driving. Anyway it was $109, but since I paid it within 30 days, I got $25 taken off. So the total I spent today on my car is $134.60. The apartment listing is going well. I have gotten about 15 responses to my Craigslist ad (not sure how many responses my Landlord has gotten from his ad), and he is currently setting up showings. He had a bunch of showings on Monday evening, and he’s got some more lined up tonight. Meanwhile I’ve been slow in moving, or even packing. I haven’t really started. Just talked to BF. He called a car repair shop that specializes in VWs, and they said that it sounds like a broken switch – which is apparently an electrical problem which is quite easy (and cheap) to fix. He’s going to leave work early and get the car towed to the shop before it closes. I also want them to also do a check-over on the car to prevent future problems, and BF said that we should probably get the car back by tomorrow after work. If not, the next day. Well, I’ve been using Google Adsense for about a month now, and I’ve made about $20 US. Not bad, but not great either. I thought I would be making more than that. I’m totally jealous of the people making hundreds off Adsense every month. I’ve also started to use Linkbee.com. I’ve been using it for about 2 weeks now, and I haven’t even made $1. Both my good news and my bad news are going to cost me money. The good news is that BF and I found the perfect couch. We went to look at a used couch yesterday after work, and it’s great – exactly what we were looking for. A beautiful blue with chocolate brown wooden legs – deep comfy microfiber cushions. It looks brand new, like it had never been sat on before – and it’s huge. Can seat 4 people for sure.
