Officially moving in with my boyfriend

So it’s official: I’m moving in with BF for June 1st! :)

I’ll be paying a flat $150/month. This will include all utilities, my share of internet/cable, and my contribution to the upkeep of the house. I will also be paying for insurance for both of us for the car. My mom said that it’s not too expensive to put another person on insurance, but I’ll have to go and check out what the rates are once I get a car.

Yesterday we scoured Craigslist and a bunch of furniture websites. We definitely need a new couch and a fridge. We decided that BF would buy a used fridge and I would get the couch. The couch is going to be more expensive, but this arrangement works for us. Other than that, we don’t need much. I think we’ll want to get coat and shoe racks for the front entrance, but those are $10-15 each at IKEA.

The space is pretty small, but I think we’ve figured out where most of our furniture is going to go. If you walked in here, you would automatically know that a boy lives here … kind of looks like a college guy’s dorm room. Or even a frat house sometimes! :) I think some changes will need to be made to incorporate both of our tastes.
