Twitter is addicting but oh so annoying

OMG. How frustrating is Twitter!? I totally understand that they’re growing at a phenomenal rate and it’s hard to keep up. But seriously. Something has to be done! It is so buggy and slow and annoying. It’s taken me 2 days to successfully upload a background picture (check it out!), and every other time I hit refresh, I get that stupid annoying whale.

Still, I’m addicted. Maybe even more so than Facebook now. Well, maybe not. But I really enjoy chatting with all of my PF friends (and new online friends who have found me on Twitter and live in Vancouver).

In other online news, after FB announced she was moving her blog to its own domain name, I’m seriously considering doing the same. I’ve been thinking about it for at least a year, but never really got around to me. There are so many pros to moving it over, but the cons of the move have been holding me back.

• All my stats would reset.
• I would lose RSS readers who are too lazy to update their feed (I think?).
• My stats would take a huge hit.
• My PR would drop.
• I’m lazy.
• But the biggest reason: I’m leaving to go traveling next year and I’m not sure what I’m going to do with this blog yet.

So … I was thinking of maybe keeping it here for now on Blogger, and first figure out what I want to do with this blog next year. I want to keep it going, but I also want to start up a Travel Blog, and I don’t know if I’ll have the time or energy to keep both up-to-date. And I’m afraid that without constant attention, most of my readers will lose interest and this blog will fall by the wayside. But I have a while to think about it. :)
