Last night I spent $10.40 on a pizza for dinner. I could have spent that money at the grocery store and made something for myself. But it was a special occasion: Opening Day for the Blue Jays. :) Turned out to be a great game. Plus, the pizza fed both of us for dinner and I had more than enough left over for lunch today.
I think BF and I are going to the Canucks/Flames game tonight. I’m trading my Flight of the Conchords tickets for someone’s lower bowl seats. I’ve been offered $300 cash for my FOTC tickets, but lower bowl seats to this hockey game are going for at least $400-500/pair (it’s the game of the year – my Flames are probably going to clinch the NW Division title). And it’s a great deal for me, since I only paid $120 for the FOTC tickets. The deal isn’t confirmed quite yet, because the guy seems a bit sketchy. I’ve called him twice this morning to confirm the deal – but once the line was busy (who gets busy signals anymore?), and then nobody picked up (no voice mail either – what gives!?). If this goes through, I’m definitely going to meet him with BF. Especially since we’re exchanging items. I don’t want him to do anything sneaky.
